Luncheon Briefing:  Managing Energy Use in Buildings

High-performance has become the latest buzzword to describe buildings. Everyone wants a high-performing building, but what technologies are required?   In the coming years, the nation’s energy needs will be increasingly satisfied by renewable energy sources.  Without proper management, the natural fluctuations inherent in renewable energy generation can result in problems for energy consuming entities, especially commercial buildings.  Two technologies will be essential to manage this variability: energy storage and energy use data collection.  To find out more about how these technologies will be essential to our nation’s renewable energy future please attend a briefing co-hosted the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)
